La Foret sur Sevre is a small friendly village of around 700 inhabitants situated equidistant between Bressuire and La Chataignerie. There are two primary schools, two doctors, a pharmacy, bar/post office, hotel/restaurant, bakery, hairdresser, garage workshop and library. Within the village there is a sports stadium, football field, outdoor and indoor petanque pitches and a community centre. The airports of Nantes, La Rochelle and Poitiers are all within 1.25 hours and the Atlantic coast is a similar distance. The ferry ports of St Malo and Caen are approx. 4 hrs drive making the home ideal for holidays, Long week-end breaks or for those who may need easy access to and from the UK.
